It’s summer in Vancouver and that means it’s time for an outdoor adventure. Where better to connect with nature than at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park? This Vancouver tourist attraction is officially open for the summer. Plus, it’s conveniently located in North Vancouver, just 20 minutes by car from downtown. For more info on Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, keep reading!

Attractions

There’s so much to love about Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. The top attraction? The Suspension Bridge, of course. It’s a great spot for photos and will have you walking along a bridge that has been in use since 1889. Other attractions include a Treetops Adventure featuring seven suspended footbridges and a Cliffwalk, made up of bridges, stairs, and platforms at soaring heights. No matter which you choose, you’re guaranteed to have stunning panoramic views.

Hours & Rates

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is open from June 26th until September 6th from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm. (The park will be open past September 6th, but with reduced hours.) Currently, entrance to the park, which includes access to all attractions, is $54.95 for adults, $29.95 for youths (ages 13-16) and $18.95 for children (ages 8-12). Children under 6 years old are free and there are special senior, student, and family rates available.

Free Shuttle from Downtown

Interested in visiting Capilano Suspension Bridge Park this summer but don't have access to a car? Worry not, because the park has an official shuttle that leaves daily from downtown Vancouver. And the best part is, it’s free of charge! Operating exclusively during the summer months, the Capilano shuttle runs daily from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm. Pick-up points are Canada Place, the Hyatt Regency Hotel, and Blue Horizon.

If you’re going to be in Vancouver this summer, then be sure to check out the newly reopened Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. And if you’re looking for a place to stay during your visit, we’d love to have you at the Hotel BLU Vancouver.
